Corn & maize
Blends for starch-rich grain, selected around your cooking temperature and saccharification strategy.

1G & 2G BIOETHANOL ENZYMES
Specialist enzyme blends tailored to your raw material, your process and your production goals.
THE RIGHT ENZYMES. THE RIGHT FEEDSTOCK.
From starch liquefaction to lignocellulosic hydrolysis, we help you select an enzyme blend around the material you actually process.
Target liquefaction, saccharification and process viscosity with complementary enzyme activities.
Blends for starch-rich grain, selected around your cooking temperature and saccharification strategy.
Starch conversion with supporting activities to address non-starch polysaccharides and viscosity.
Tailored liquefaction and glucose release for root, tuber and mixed starch feedstocks.
Working with molasses, sugar juice or mixed sugar streams? Tell us about the composition: readily fermentable sugars may not need starch-hydrolysing enzymes.
Complementary cellulases and hemicellulases, matched to feedstock composition and pretreatment.
Target cellulose and hemicellulose in pretreated agricultural residues.
Blends selected around fibre accessibility, lignin content and your pretreatment method.
Recover accessible carbohydrates from suitable cellulose-rich industrial side streams.
Enzymes act on accessible carbohydrates; they do not replace effective pretreatment. Pentose utilisation depends on the fermentation organism and process.
DEDICATED FEEDSTOCK ANALYSIS SERVICE
Give your enzyme trial a stronger starting point. Our dedicated feedstock analysis service helps define what is in your material and how to approach its conversion.
Analysis scope, sample requirements and pricing agreed before work begins.
CLEAR VOLUMES. PRACTICAL ECONOMICS.
Illustrative inputs, not a dosing recommendation. Use a trial-validated dose on a consistent feedstock basis (as received or dry matter).
per metric tonne of feedstock
Estimates cover enzyme cost only, not pretreatment, utilities or fermentation. Litres are used for liquid formulations; activity and formulation must also be considered when comparing enzymes. US quantities use US liquid gallons and 2,000 lb short tons. USD quotations available on request.
FROM FIRST SAMPLE TO BULK SUPPLY
Free technical support helps you design a useful trial and assess results against your current process.
Tell us the material, pretreatment, solids loading, pH, temperature and production goals.
Request free enzyme samples. We help you define controls and meaningful comparison points.
Compare sugar release, viscosity, conversion time and fermentation outcomes.
Discuss bulk quantities and a supply plan matched to your operation.
Blend composition and performance depend on the material and operating conditions. We recommend a controlled trial before full-scale dosing.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Talk to our technical team ↗
First-generation bioethanol uses sugar or starch feedstocks such as sugar juice, corn, wheat and cassava. Second-generation bioethanol uses lignocellulosic materials such as straw, bagasse, wood and cellulose-rich residues, typically requiring pretreatment before enzymatic hydrolysis.
Yes. Share your feedstock composition, pretreatment and process conditions. We can discuss suitable enzyme activities and a screening plan rather than assume one fixed formulation fits every material.
We offer free enzyme samples for trials and free technical support. Tell us about your application so we can agree suitable samples and the next steps. Dedicated feedstock analysis is scoped and quoted separately.
Yes. All enzyme blends are offered in 25 L, 1,000 L and 16,000 L supply options (approximately 6.60, 264.17 and 4,226.75 US gallons). Bulk prices start from £6.76/L delivered. Contact us for a blend-specific quotation for your quantity and destination.
Contact us before sending material. We will agree the analytical scope, representative sampling, quantity, packaging and shipping requirements for your particular feedstock.
